The character of Indigenous peoples and people of color will prevail
Describe what are you working on in the field of climate change, environmental protection, environmental justice or social impact.
CAUSE is a people of color led public benefit corporation (501c3) building regional power in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties from the grassroots up, with low-wage working, Latino, immigrant, youth and millenials. CAUSE works on intersectional issues of environmental justice, immigrant rights, economic justice, progressive tax reform and fair representation and voting rights. CAUSE multi-strategies including community organizing, leadership development, coalition building, media advocacy and policy research and advocacy.
