What key words best describe your hope for the future?
circular economy, social justice, corporate sustainability & responsibility
Describe what are you working on in the field of climate change, environmental protection, environmental justice or social impact.
I am a Master's candidate at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, and pursuing a specialization in Corporate Environmental Management. Corporations and businesses have the most room and influence for change, and they are able to lead change in sustainability and social justice. I am excited to pursue the intersection of business and climate change, especially with the support and strong coalition of women leaders!
How might other W&E conference attendees be able to support your work, goals or objectives?
My class partner and I are developing a business model for sustainable apparel and closed-loop design. To learn from fellow environmental leaders about their trials and tribulations, and where the most room for change exists, we can target our efforts in building a more sustainable, equitable, and transparent brand.
What are you able and willing to contribute to other attendees at the conference to support their work, goals or objectives?
As a student, I provide a fresh perspective on where I see room for change in the field of sustainability, and what issues matter most to me and my peers.
