inclusive and collaborative solutions to socio-environmental challenges
Describe what are you working on in the field of climate change, environmental protection, environmental justice or social impact.
My research work focuses on environmental communication and media representations of climate change. I am currently managing a collaborative project focused on developing a strategic communication plan to help the UC system achieve carbon neutrality. I teach about using data visualization design and visual storytelling to engage audiences with socio-environmental issues.
How might other W&E conference attendees be able to support your work, goals or objectives?
I would like to learn more about the work of other attendees, and discuss ideas about how I could use my skills and expertise to help community members and organizations advance their goals.
What are you able and willing to contribute to other attendees at the conference to support their work, goals or objectives?
I am interested in becoming more involved in community action on environmental issues. I look forward to sharing my ideas, expertise and enthusiasm!
