What key words best describe your hope for the future?

social justice, climate justice

Describe what are you working on in the field of climate change, environmental protection, environmental justice or social impact.

This is my 4th year at UCSB as a double major in Environmental Science and Cultural Anthropology. I am currently an Associate News Director for 91.9 KCSB FM in Santa Barbara and cover environmental news in the Tri- Counties area. For 2 years I had an environmental affairs radio talk show called "Get 'Mental.", focusing on climate justice and environmental racism.

How might other W&E conference attendees be able to support your work, goals or objectives?

My goals are to inform the Santa Barbara community and surrounding areas of the environmental issues we face locally.. W&E conference attendees can support my work by connecting me with people to talk to who are invested in local environmental issues so we can make sure their voices and stories are heard.

What are you able and willing to contribute to other attendees at the conference to support their work, goals or objectives?

I have access to a media outlet that broadcasts from Ventura to San Luis Obispo and streams online worldwide. I am able to speak with people about their work and give their corresponding projects public recognition. Depending on the nature of the work, KCSB can provide Public Service Announcements or interviews.
