Describe what are you working on in the field of climate change, environmental protection, environmental justice or social impact.
After a 25-year career in the fields of youth leadership and the environment, most recently as a senior leader at TreePeople in Los Angeles, I am bringing my work back to my home in Ventura County. Here, as an independent consultant, I've begun sharing skills, wisdom, and support to leaders working for social impact. My focus is on strengthening our individual and collective power and effectiveness -- our heart, courage, smarts and staying power -- as we work to advance goals, programs and projects that are so urgently needed.
How might other W&E conference attendees be able to support your work, goals or objectives?
I am interested in finding out the training and support needs of attendees, to devise creative ways of meeting these to strengthen our movement building.
What are you able and willing to contribute to other attendees at the conference to support their work, goals or objectives?
I would like to work with like-minded people at the systems-change level, so together we can grow our strength as a movement.
